Green Policy

Our pledge to reduce environmental impact before, during, and after MCMUN 2025.

Committed to Responsible Conferences

Hosting an international conference is an opportunity to rethink how we gather and celebrate community without compromising the planet we share. Our Green Policy guides every department so that sustainability becomes a daily habit—not a one-time gesture.

Waste Reduction & Recycling

We prioritize reusable materials, minimize single-use plastics, and place clearly marked recycling stations across the venue. Volunteers will assist delegates with sorting bins and collecting badges for reuse at the closing ceremony.

Energy & Transportation

Venue lighting and climate controls follow energy-efficient schedules, and we encourage public transit, carpooling, or shuttle services whenever possible. On-site screens remind participants of departures to reduce idle vehicles.

Digital-First Resources

Agendas, committee guides, and logistics updates are shared digitally to reduce paper usage. When printing is required, we use recycled stock and local vendors committed to eco-friendly inks.

Food & Partnerships

Catering focuses on seasonal, locally sourced ingredients and offers vegetarian and vegan meal options. We partner with vendors who share our sustainability goals and donate surplus food to community organizations where feasible.
